[Connor watches Pratt mess with the shield, and finds that he feels a little relieved that he has something to defend himself. Maybe it was worth the annoyance of the conversation from Ephemera.]

I'll be fine. I'm far more durable than a human.

[Pratt arches an eyebrow but doesn't say anything. In his mind Connor is far more likely to go flying apart like an erector set caught in a windstorm, but that's probably not a nice thing to say.]
