Well at least something worked out the way I expected.

I don't see why we can't? If the aliens ever let us leave, why shouldn't we tell them where we want to go. They'd owe us after we fed them all that time.

[He looks away. There's a big difference between knowing he has issues and actually dealing with them. And while Pratt has been doing an admirable job holding it together and coming across as mostly sane - it won't last. He knows it won't.

He just doesn't have the mental fortitude to be on top of it 24/7 and clinging to sanity constantly. At some point it'll slip. It has with Kettara. And with Charles. Someone will realize that he's not what he seems and preemptively strike.

[she'd never strike preemptively. and anything he'd try to do to her, she'd just phase and try to reason with him. emphasis being on try. but she cares about him a lot and she won't give up on him]
