I would have been loath to admit it a month, even a year ago, but it is there, in the connections I have made that I could not have back home. Even now, there is comfort in the commiseration one finds with a friend, even if their bonds were born of tragedy, of a similar suffering or guilt... or of gardening and enchanted rocks.
