Nothing like missing limbs or anything, thank grife. But people came back unable to see or hear or speak. And they had to wait for the aliens to regain their strength to have those problems fixed, which apparently took a while.
Being blind around here would be pretty rough. You'd have to find someone you really trusted to guide you around. It would make getting dressed hard, making food hard, even eating food hard.
[Pratt blinks, a little stunned. This whole conversation and everything he knows about her and he's still shocked when she shows the barest hint of caring about him.]
Thank you.
[And he's not going to follow it up with something about how he doesn't deserve it. So that's progress.]
I suppose we'll have to see if these false gods can get them for us. I'm not sure. I guess I can ask them.
[Talking to the gods more isn't exactly appealing - but he knows he should. Needs to stop isolating himself from everything.]
[well, she does care about him and she's not stopping any time soon. or ever, if she has any say in it]
You're welcome.
[yay, progress!]
I think that Rage can provide ammunition to people who have guns. She'd probably be the best bet to ask. She'd probably make us do something awful to get them, though.
Maybe not, but you're my friend and you know me. If I tell you about what happened, you can listen while I work things out. And if you have advice, great. If you don't, I'll at least have someone who'll listen.
[she's never had a boyfriend before and she doesn't know if she Did It Right]
